    Both modes are available. Import an existing .srt/.vtt (generated by a transcription service or downloaded) OR type each subtitle manually with its timecode in our built-in editor. You can also combine: import an SRT then adjust/correct timings in the editor.

    Your choice. "Burned-in" mode: subtitles are engraved in the image, always visible regardless of player (useful for Instagram/TikTok where SRT files aren't supported). "Soft subs" mode: subtitles stay as a separate track in MP4/MKV, toggleable and auto-translatable by YouTube.

    Yes, our editor offers: font (30+), point size, text color, background color (optional), black/white outline for readability, opacity, on-screen position (bottom center by default, customizable). In burned-in mode all styles are preserved; in soft subs only modern browsers support advanced styles.

    Yes in soft subs mode: multiple subtitle tracks coexist in the same MP4/MKV (e.g. EN, FR, ES), and viewers pick their language in the player (YouTube, VLC, Netflix-like). In burned-in mode, one language at a time (but you can export multiple versions).
